Website update

February 2005

I will be progressively updating this site over the next few months. The first new feature is a discussion forum. A place to discuss all things relating to this site and Catweazle in general.

Catweazle DVD... sometime in 2005?

January 2005

Network Video is expected to release Catweazle in DVD in 2005. A date is yet to be confirmed although March has been mentioned on some websites. The company recently reached agreement with Granada Ventures to acquire and release a wide range of programming from their archives. They are currently drawing up a schedule for 2005 and have assured me they will be in touch when they can make an announcement.

Catweazle DVD postponed... again!

October 2003

Several fans have emailed me to report that Network Videos has confirmed to them that Catweazle is back on their release schedule for 2004. The Catweazle Fan Club reports the release was slated for very early in the New Year, but has been pushed back to April to make way for another release.

Catweazle to become Dr Who!!

February 2003

Geoffrey Bayldon is going to be playing Doctor Who in an audio CD release due out in May.

Goodies on DVD

February 2003

The Goodies are finally coming to DVD. You can now order The Goodies - At last! which features eight digitally restored episodes including Kitten Kong, The Goodies and the Beanstalk, Ecky Thump and Saturday Night Grease.

Enchanted Jewlery

January 2003

If you're a fan of all things Zodiac you might like to check out the Enchanted Jewlery website. They have a range of affordable bookmarks, candles, charms, greeting cards and pendants.

Catweazle Fan Club

November 2002

Catweazle fans are finally getting organised! I can't say enough good things about the official Catweazle Fan Club. Be sure to check out their website... groovy!

This Catweazle website was launched in September 1997 and is celebrating its fifth year with this kewl new look. When I started the site there was next to no information about Catweazle on the web. Since the site was launched more than 70,000 fans have found their way here for a magical dip into the past. It has been incredibly pleasing to play a part in the emergence of Catweazle online, to watch websites and tribute pages crop up all over the world and to be involved with the video launch a few years ago which brought this classic back to our screens for the first time.

The enduring appeal of Catweazle is a fine tribute to this wonderfully written series, filled with humour, warmth and charm, and made unforgettable by Geoffrey Bayldon's outstanding performance as Catweazle.

Many thanks to the hundreds of people who have provided information and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your visit and please don't forget to show your love! and visit the discussion forum before you go. Gab Agaba!
